An update from my previous post- the walkthrough is now complete! The main update came from incorporating track cameras that are not controlled by user input, but rather a cinematic animation. The video below showcases both.
With work I do so many architectural visualization images but have not really dipped into the interactive side. After being wowed many times by Unreal 4 Engine's capabilities I decided to use it for my own interactive walkthroughs.
This video above shows my first test using the engine to provide a real-time, virtual walkthrough of the space. I think it turned out pretty well for a first try, though there are many things that can be done even better. Being able to explore the space from any angle provides an amazing immersive experience that adds a lot to the visualization. I am hoping to get better / quicker with time and be able to provide this service in my work.
